I couldn't recommend Lynda more to anyone learning to drive. Lynda takes the time you need, very good to chat with and just cares about you passing your test, putting a lot of confidence in you and getting that confidence in yourself as well.

Megan Mcmanus passed with our new starters instructor Kenny in Carlisle.

When looking for an instructor Megan wanted someone who was friendly, approachable and well informed as well as having good reviews. Other important factors were the instructors teaching methods. When learning to drive Megan said that after having lessons previously with another instructor she had expected to hate it but said that Kenny made it enjoyable and relaxed so Megans confidence grew and it was great. She added that her instructors teaching methods were brilliant and that she would definately recommend new starters as teaching methods and instructors are great. Megan also said she couldnt think of anything to improve our services but did note maybe the price but she said new starters were well worth every penny of the price.

Well done to Max Kirton who passed his test first time with our new starters driving instructor Stephen. We asked Max to review us and he had this to say.

When learning to drive Max originally started with one of our PDI's Peter and went on to finish his lessons with our instructor Stephen, Max was recommended by his brother who had previously passed with Stephen and he had also been recommended by a lot of his friends which was important as he wanted a school that was well recommended. When asked about his instructors teaching methods Max said they were really helpful and that he would pass on a recommendation as New starters got him through his test promptly.

When choosing an instructor Lewis wanted someone who was a nice person. When learning to drive he said it had initially been harder than he thought but it then became much easier, his instructors teaching methods were good and Kenny was honest and patient with Lewis. Lewis said he would recommend new starters because his instructor was understanding and he could talk to him like a mate.

When looking for an instructor Holly wanted somewhere that she could learn before going out onto the road systems to build her confiidence and somewere with good reviews, other important factors when choosing an instructor was the location. Holly started with us on our off road/pre learner site in Houghton Carlisle. When learning to drive Holly found that it wasnt as scary as she had initially thought and she found her instructors teaching methods very good, she felt safe when driving and her anxiety passed. Holly added she would recommend new starters as were a friendly bunch.

Annabelle said that when looking for an instructor she wanted somneone who should could get along with and that had good pass rates. When asked how learning to drive comnpared to what she had thought she said it was quicker than expected and that her instructors teaching methods were very good. When looking for an instructor Emily said that the most important thing for her was being able to do some off road driving lessons aswell as being able to meet her instructor before going out onto the public roads, she also wanted an instructor who came highly recommended. When learning to drive Emily found it much more relaxed and her instructors teaching methods were very informative. Emily has said that she would recommend New starters driving school and she couldn't think of anything to improve.

When looking for an instructor Samuel wanted someone who was able to do after 5.30pm and he wanted somewhere to practice before going onto the roads. He also added that if needed he wanted the option of other instructors. When learning to drive it was as he had expected and he found his instructors teaching methods good and useful.
